Rescued and Repurposed Plastic

In 2018 I began experimenting with ways to use discarded plastic to create artwork for a recycling-themed art show. There is an overwhelming amount of plastic that is discarded daily. Choices we make as individuals to reduce or eliminate our use of single use plastics are a step toward positive change.

Below are several works I created using fused plastic shopping bags, six pack rings, and various otherwise garbage-bound plastic findings.
